I would like to express my gratitude for being selected as a recipient of the Schools Supplies Grant 2026. This grant will help fund my students' exploration into inquiry-based learning by providing me with needed funds to purchase consumables and equipment for labs. Thank you so much!

'I am excited to be a recipient of the educators' professional development grant. There are so many great educator conferences, but I cannot afford to attend if my district is not covering the cost. Being a member of �ڰ������� allows educators the opportunity to pursue additional professional development too.

Thank you so much to �ڰ������� for the Educator Travel Grant! This grant will help provide an opportunity to gain knowledge from agricultural leaders pertaining to the agriculture industry and education that can be brought back to the classroom. This information will help students further their knowledge about agriculture and possibly inspire students to choose a career in the agriculture industry.

Thank you so much for the grant! I love coaching extracurriculars for students, especially those that are academically-oriented. I feel that students who prefer academics over athletics are often overlooked at the high school level. Budgets and boosters are there for football, basketball, and even marching band. However, there is not always support for academic clubs like creative writing or chess. Further, if a school offers advanced academics like computer science and engineering, they have already invested a lot in the day-to-day operations. But what about extra projects or competitions? I will be using this grant to purchase competition polos for our Academic Decathlon team and blazers and neckties/cross ties for our Mock Trial team. The clothing serves as a team uniform, providing identity and showing the students that they are important representatives of our school and district! Thank you so much for making this possible!

Thank you to �ڰ�������, my students, and fellow educators for this opportunity. Teaching is a unique job opportunity that presents itself differently each and every day. Every moment may not be perfect, but it is the chance to build up students and help them as they reach their full potential.

Mr. Ukaegbu began his teaching career in the United States, specifically in California, but later transferred to Maryland where he landed at Duval High School, Prince George's County Public School. Though he has taught various subjects, his expertise lies in Mathematics and Physics. He possesses a deep understanding of Math concepts and delivers them with enthusiasm.

I am a music and theater teacher in Fredonia, Kansas. I applied for the �ڰ������� School Supply Grant to help with the cost of our theater costumes for the musical production of “Beauty and the Beast” that we put on this year. With the grant money I received, we could rent specific costumes for our show, including costumes for the characters Belle, Cogsworth, Lumiere, The Beast, the Wardrobe, and Chip. With the support I received from �ڰ�������, I could devote more time and money to all aspects of the show, earning our students several nominations for state-wide awards. Thank you for supporting the arts and Fredonia High School!

I am truly honored and grateful to receive the grant from the National Society of High School Scholars. This support goes beyond financial assistance; it is a heartfelt affirmation of our commitment to promoting social-emotional learning and wellness for our campus community. Your grant will enable us to provide students with crucial counseling resources that address their emotional and mental health needs. It allows us to further expand our social-emotional learning initiatives with a unique focus on mindfulness as a complement to their educational journey. I can't wait to share this wonderful news with the amazing student leaders of our school's Model United Nations (MUN)! This �ڰ������� grant will enable our group to attend more conferences. My students are enthusiastic and driven. They are also not your typical MUN club. My students will be the first in their families to attend college. Often, our students are the only African American or Latinx students at the conferences we attend. I support MUN because it fosters diplomacy, and an understanding of international issues, and encourages young people to become global citizens. On a personal note, attending MUN conferences also gives my students the space to meet and interact with academically motivated young people, something of a precursor to the students they will encounter in college.
